- Stereoscope Photograph showing a view of soldiers using periscopes to look over the tops of trench. ‘Amid bursting crumps, with trench mortar ready, [Seaforths] watch through periscope for the Hun’ The regiment is the Scottish unit known as the Seaforth Highlanders and some Ulster soldiers served in it.
