- Booklet remembering 'The Easter Proclamation 1916,' with an image of the dying Cú Chulainn on the back. A bronze sculpture of the dead Cú Chulainn stands in the Dublin General Post Office (GPO) in commemoration of the Easter Rising of 1916. This image of Cú Chulainn was also used on the Irish ten shilling coin to commemorate 50 years since the Easter Rising.

National Museums NI holds over a million objects in the collection, as well as this we manage the records and associated images for each object through a working database. The national collection has been almost 200 years in the making, and we recognise that thinking about collecting and collections has evolved over this time and continues to evolve.
