Postcard showing ‘The Island Magee man’s conversion to the Unionist cause.’ An old Islandmagee farmer when given an account of the happenings at Larne on Friday, 24th April, when the gun-runners landed 50,000 arms, admitted that "after all the buddies may be richt" The Islandmagee folk, although Presbyterians, are not very enthusiastic for or against Home Rule.'
