Printed chromolithograph poster free with 'United Ireland' Saturday journal on 12th Jan 1884. Titled 'Realizing the police Tax - When Mule met Mule.' Signed by J. D. [John Dooley] Reigh, By the early 1880s he was contributing a weekly coloured cartoon for the Saturday edition of 'United Ireland', generally favourable to the paper's founder, C. S. Parnell and the Irish Parliamentary party. His work also appeared in 'The Nation' and 'Shamrock'.
