Description
Canvas nameplates; "Mountjoy" printed at sea on the "Clyde Valley" by Major.F.Crawford. The Clyde Valley temporarily changed its name to the 'Mountjoy,' as historic reference to the Mountjoy ship during the Seige of Derry, for coming into Larne and Bangor to unload the guns for the awaiting Ulster Volunteers during the Home Rule crisis.
