Title: Book of prize outlines of the Royal Irish Art-Union Competition 1845.
Scope and content: Includes a catalogue of 150 paintings published and sold by John Hodgson. There are pages illustrating the ballad 'Savourneen Deelish' drawn by J.H. Lynch. There is a note inside addressed to Bigger dated 17 July 1920. The catalogue appears to have originally been separate from the booklet, as the paper is a different texture, it is unrelated to the cover of the booklet, and it is taped to the front page.
