Scope and content: Book authored by Bigger about play acting in Belfast and the visit of Welsh actress Mrs Siddons to Belfast in 1785. It includes illustrations of Siddons, the Old Theatre in Arthur Square, Montague Talbot (Manager and proprietor of the Arthur Square Theatre), an old play advertisement, and Shanes Castle. Also a loose double-sided sheet with portraits of Samuel Johnson and Edmund Kean. The paper is different so it may not form part of the same book. However, as both figures were involved in theatre it may have been inserted intentionally or separated from the book due to damage.
