Scope and content: L.W. Montgomery was an ornithologist and oologist. He documented regional bird populations, and his bird egg collection is preserved in the Ulster Museum.
This archive consists of a photograph album of Montgomery and colleagues, including C.J. Carroll, Denis Kiely and H.T. Malcomson, conducting field observations in the 1950s/60’s, with a newspaper clipping from the Irish Times about the collection of Major W.M. Congreve of the British Ornithologists' Union.
