Scope and content: This archive contains correspondence, photographs, typed and handwritten tour notes, and advertisements for archaeological and geological excursions (1975-1980) organised and led by Philip S. Doughty, then Keeper of Geology at the Ulster Museum.
The collection includes letters from participants, interested parties, and coach operators, including Mulholland Tours, as well as detailed notes on tours of Down, including Drumena Cashel and Souterrain, the Antrim Coast, and the volcanic past of the Giant’s Causeway.
