Title
Bird Diary, 1901
Scope and content
A book with handwritten entries recording bird sightings from April to August 1901, listing species names, counts and behaviours. The provenance is unclear, but it was possibly compiled in North Africa or the Middle East due to the prevalence of birds such as the Pale Desert Warbler, the Short-toed Lark, the Cactus Thrush, the Woodchat Shrike and the Sandgrouse.
