Isabel Woods was an Irish cyclist and the holder of many records, including cycling 386 miles from Mizen Head in Cork to Fair Head in Antrim in under 24 hours.
This archive comprises Belfast Cycling Club material, including transcripts of minutes c.1899-1910; journal of handwritten race results, 1902-05; press cuttings, 1900s; membership cards; ‘runs and rules’ booklets, 1900s-50s; a holiday fund ledger, 1910-15; correspondence on attempted road-race records, 1940s; and notes of reminiscence.
