There are small sprigs of holly to the left of the image. Printed message on front of card reads 'A merry Xmas / to you!'. Postcard addressed to 'Miss M McBrien, c/o E. P. Townsend, Overbrook, Pa.' Message reads 'Greetings / from Alice. / x.' Postmarked Philadephia PA., December 24 1916. One United States postage George Washington one cent stamp. Printed on back of postcard 'Postcard / This side for correspondence / The address to be written on this side / London'.
