- Handwritten letter from Colonel Biggar, Ealing, London, to A.A. Campbell, October 1940. Letter between friends about conditions in London during World War 2. Colonel Biggar writes 'But you have no idea of conditions here, bombs falling every night shake the houses dreadfully, our trains, tubes and buses are all in a muddle, many stations closed'.
