Ireland - Description
- A dress collar of white cotton Irish crochet lace. Worked in a very free design, with motifs including roses, thistles, fern leaves, shamrocks and daisy-like flowers. The round neck edge and outer edges are trimmed with a repeating pattern of small circular motifs. The mesh ground, worked to join the individual motifs together is more closely worked towards the outer points of the collar.
