- Hexagonal patchwork pincushion made from scraps of British Army uniforms. The red, white, navy and green patches are diamond-shaped and arranged as six-pointed stars within a red border. On the reverse, a single piece of black fabric is backstitched on the right hand side with coarse white linen thread. Hand sewn throughout, the patchwork is pieced mosaic style.
