Belfast - Description
- A dress with matching brat (cape) for Irish dance. For wear by girl aged approx 8 -10 years. Dress has centre back zip. Dress and cape are of black terylene with hand embroidery (chain stitch) in Celtic interlaced designs worked in yellow, red, white and green cotton thread. Skirt and cape are lined with saffron yellow polyester fabric. Crochet lace collar and cuffs, white cotton yarn. Cape attached at shoulders, with metal brooches/pins. A class costume, believed to be for the Holy Trinity School of Irish dance, Belfast.
