Description
A proof cloth for a linen huckaback weave hand towel with a damask border pattern of roses. Woven in unbleached and red yarn. Loom width 50cm, finished hems. A large (10 cm x 14 cm ) paper label attached to the lower edge of the cloth carries the proof cloth report, including the information that the piece was woven at the Lower Lodge works on 19th November 1930.
