1930 - Description
- A proof cloth for a place mat. Woven in huckaback with a central motif and border pattern in damask, of unbleached and red linen yarn. Loom width 40cm, selvedge to selvedge. Unhemmed. A large (10cmx14cm) paper label attached to one corner carries the proof cloth report, including the information that this sample was woven at the Lower Lodge works on 31st July 1930.
