1926 - Description
- A linen proof cloth for a huckaback weave and damask towel. Unbleached linen yarn with a weft of red. The main body of the towel is huckaback weave, with a border of damask. A large paper label (10 cm x 14cm) attched at the lower right edge carries the Proof Cloth Report, including the information that the cloth was woven at the Lower Lodge works on 30th June 1926. Loom width 40 cm. Unhemmed.
