Description: A proof cloth for a linen huckaback weave towel, with borders of damask design, in unbleached and red linen yarn. Loom width 52 cm, unhemmed. A large (10 cm x 14 cm) label at the lower edge of the towel carries the proof cloth report, including the information that this sample was woven at the Lower Lodge works on 27th November 1922.
