Object Name: Cross; St Brigid
Description: St. Brigid's cross lozenge style made from wire and oat straw. There are 5 diamond woven pieces joined together by 2 pieces of wire. There is a central lozenge diamond shape and one at each arm of the cross. This cross was made in 1980 by sisters Margaret (aged 90) and Brigid (in her late 80s) from Co. Tyrone. They learned how to make St. Brigid's crosses from their mother.
