1880 -1910 - Description
- A rectangular pincushion of embroidered dark brown velvet, backed with purple crepe silk, edged with green and purple (very faded now) gimp trim. The floral embroidery on the velvet is worked in wool yarn in Jacobean style. Hand sewn throughout. Softly padded with grain-like stuffing. Some safety pins, a small decorative knotted bow pin, and pins still attached.
