Description
A square diamond souvenir pincushion of red rayon fabric which has been commercially (swiss-machine) embroidered with a stylized image of King William 111 (King Billy) mounted on a white horse. Below this image is also embroidered the wording 'King William 111, 1690'. The embroidered image is framed on two opposite sides by a strip of pale blue cotton braid trim. The pincushion is backed with dark brown rayon fabric, and edged all around with red, white and blue twisted cotton cord. Stuffed firmly with textile fibres.
