Picture postcard of an open book, one page showing four young children placing their Christmas stockings over a fireplace and the other page showing a printed verse, 'A Bright & Jolly Christmas; This is a little message to convey all good wishes for your Christmas day. May every happiness attend your way.' Surrounding the book are holly and mistletoe and a robin on a branch. Reverse of postcard shows that it was addressed to Miss Hall, Castlewellan, Co. Down, dated December 1911.
