subject : Ormeau Ferry Crossing. Ferry crossing just below Ormeau Bridge. Rowing boats being used to transport a large queue of people from what is now the Ormeau Embankment side of the Lagan to the Gaswork side (Cromac area). The gasometers can be seen in the background of the photograph. date : c.1908
