subject : series of slides taken by A. R. Hogg on the Isle of Man; portrait of white-bearded man in working clothes posing at door of apparently substantial stone-built dwelling house. The top of the doorway is glazed, and fishing nets hang from a hook and horse-shoe set in the wall alongside. entitled 'Type of native', annotated and signed by Hogg. date : c. 1900.
