Description

This mural is one of 46 in the Northern Ireland Prison Service collection, which were painted on boards or partition walls in nissen huts at HMP Maze/Long Kesh. Most of these murals were in the loyalist compounds. Dedicated to Compound 18 at HMP Maze/Long Kesh. Features symbols of Red Hand Commando, Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) and Young Citizen Volunteers. Underneath is a verse from Rudyard Kipling's poem 'Ulster'.
