Description

This mural is one of 46 in the Northern Ireland Prison Service collection, which were painted on boards or partition walls in nissen huts at HMP Maze/Long Kesh. Most of these murals were in the loyalist compounds. Depicts RAF Long Kesh Bomber Command Station during the Second World War. The former RAF station was used to establish Long Kesh Detention Centre in August 1971, and later became HMP Maze.
