Label attached to the piece by selotape that reads: 'Kayapo Tribe Sword Club Punishment'. Written on the blade: 'Kayapo Sword Club'. Small connecal carved base, with natural fibre plant base and bindings with fray pieces throughout the lower half of the club. Style of weaving on grip may indicate if it is used for hunting or warfare.
