Description
British War medal awarded to Sister Brolly, a nurse during the First World War. This medal was awarded to those who entered a theatre of war or entered service overseas between 5th August 1914 and 11th November 1918 inclusive. Approximately 6.5 million British War Medals were issued. The front of the medal depicts the head of George V. With blue, white and gold ribbon. Rim is inscribed S. Nurse B. Brolly.
