1975 (circa) - William Bogle is a painter with whom Colin Harrison shares an interest in the composer Arnold Schönberg, hence the title. The picture contains visual quotations from paintings by Altdorfer and Holbein. The surrounding framework of apparently disconnected images is part of a "private mythology" concocted by Harrison and Bogle who worked together at the Belfast College of Art. Maps of Corsica and the Mull of Kintyre appear on the wooden frame.
