Object Name: Panel
Description: An Italian embroidered silk tent stitch panel, circa 1650. The Art of Embroidery, (Lanto Synge, 2001). This panel depicts a blue and white sky behind a hill that provides a background for a series of floral designs. Three main floral designs are positioned at the front of the panel, with blue petals and green leaves. The frame is ornate and floral in design.
