Belfast - Description
- Working model of a tea leaf cutting and grading machine by Davidson Sirocco Works, Belfast. Cylindrical woven wire drum mounted on painted steel chassis on painted wooden base. Hand operated drive mechanism and feed hopper at one end and discharge chute at other end. Five trays along base for various grades of tea dust passing through cylinder. Brass plate on base reads "Davidson & Co Ltd Patentees & Makers Sirocco Engineering Works Belfast"
