Description
Independent Unionist candidate Thomas Caldwell for South Antrim, Westminster Election 1970. Printed in black on white with large image of candidate. Caldwell stood as an Independent Unionist in the South Antrim constituency and received 10,938 votes but was not elected. Caldwell supported Terence O’Neill’s reform programme and was elected to the NI Parliament in 1969. He represented Belfast Willowfield until 1972.
