- design : Black cloth, with black velvet collar, embroidered with gilt wire shamrock, and edged with gilt braid, collar badges gilt with 2 eyelet fasteners and red felt backing, epaulettes gold cord with embroidered crown and 2 stars. 1 R.I.C. button. 8 gilt R.I.C. buttons down front, 2 at back, 2x3 on tail, which is slashed and decorated with gold, shamrock, embroidery on black velvet. The cuff is similarly decorated, and has 3 gilt R.I.C. buttons. The aigulette is green and gold with two gilt "Pencils"..
