Belfast - Description
- This poster featuring the silhouette image of Official IRA activist Joe McCann, taken from a photograph which featured in Life magazine. 'Joe McCann - Soldier of the People.' One of the most high-profile members of the Official IRA in the early years of the Troubles Joe McCann was shot dead by the British Army in April 1972. Screen-printed red, blue and black on green. These posters were being sold in June 1972 in aid of the wife and child of Joe McCann.
