Description
Red cloth, blue collar and cuff. The stand up collar is decorated with silver braid and lined with velvet. Down the front 18 silver buttons, on each side 19 loops of silver braid with a button on each. The cuff curves to a point on the front and back seam, and is decorated with silver braid. The back seams are outlined with silver braid, and end in two Austrian Knot type decorations; there are two dummy pockets outlined in braid. White lining, on which in faded ink an illegible name and address: "William [Rotenie], No. 2 Newmann, Kirk[?]ton. The buttons are silver plated copper, on which a crown and 'R.L.Y.'. The collar has velvet linind on the inside. This could possibly stand for an English Yeomanry Regiment.
