Description: National Democratic Party poster. Printed black, blue and yellow on white with a photograph of the candidate, Alasdair McDonnell for North Antrim. Westminister Election, June 1970. He received 4,312 votes but was not elected. Later as an SDLP candidate McDonnell would win the South Belfast constituency. He became leader of the SDLP in 2011.
