Green enamel badge witha dotted outer ring, with I, V (Irish Volunteers) divided by a harp. Registered (nos. not legible). Circular fastening. Flag with pin. The Irish Volunteers were set up in 1913 to counter the set up of the Ulster Volunteers in their advance reaction to Home Rule being enforced.
