London - Scarlet cloth with yellow collar and cuffs. The collar has a hook at the throat, and the single breasted front has had 14 buttons arranged in pairs down the front, there are only 2 left, the pointed cuff has two buttons on the back seam (one missing on right cuff). Jacket lined and quilted, inside pocket on left side. Red leather waist band. Buttons, silver plated, on an outer ribbon 'LONDONDERRY M', inside this a castle. The pointed cuff came into fashion in the late 1860's.
