Bronze statuette of Kuan Yin, a Buddhist Divinity. The statuette was originally covered in lacquered gold leaf. With a small child in their hands the statue is thought to represent fertility as well as compassion and mercy, and is widely loved. Kuan Yin, also known as Guanyin, is gender fluid and can appear as both male and female.
