- Pot : urn : encrusted Incised ornament The rim is bevelled inwardly and decorated with scored lines to form a herring-bone pattern; flattened externally and ornamented with the same motif. Applied ornament begins immediately below the rim and is confined to one zone of a running chevron motif. This zone is delimited by a cordon followed by three further cordons, all decorated with alternating diagonally scored lines. The lower half of the vessel is ornamented with a very deep chevron motif carried out in broad shallow grooves. Encircling the basal area are three rows of short oblique lines arranged to form a herring-bone pattern. The ware is coarse in coarse in colour and varies from pink to buff.
