Scope and content: Sales ledger from a spirit grocer in the village of Aghalee, 1904. Transactions are listed by pencil, noting persons involved, products sold, and the amount of cash involved. Goods sold include cocoa, flour, tobacco, sugar, butter, coal, varnish, flannel, paint, blouse cloth, and oil. The provenance can not be confirmed, but the Ballymena Observer from 2nd February 1900 reports that a William Clarke of Aghalee had been successful in his application for a spirit licence.
