Contains several sections where the hymns are organised by theme, for example hmyns 191-208 fall under 'The Scriptures' section. Preface explains that this revised edition ('Songs for the Sanctuary') 'contains all the additions, and exhibits all the alterations, which the experience of three years' use of the "Songs of the Church" could suggest.'
