Scope and content: Letter from John McCutchen to John Cleland's father, James Cleland. The letter states that John Cleland had not recieved the bundle that his father sent him but Mary Jelly did and she came here nearly a week before John went away. He says Mary Jelly is living at present in the house they lodge and has found a place in the country to go home at May. Sent from Glasgow to Drumaglish. Postscript says that John Cleland's examination is over and he is pretty certain there is no doubt of his passing.
