Scope and content: Letter to John's brother, Hugh. John writes that his ship has now arrived in Yarmouth after sailing for seven days with terrible weather conditions. He says that there are seven more 'sail of the line' in their fleet than there was last summer as they now expect the Swedish and Russian fleets to act against Britain.
