Work from the 20th Century forms the strongest part of the Print Collection. This is in part due to a large donation from the printmaker Lady Mabel Annesley in the 1930s. She was one of the foremost exponents of wood engraving in Britain, masterfully transcribing light and shade into her blocks. The collection also boasts examples of many different printing methods including:
The collection is always growing. Recent acquisitions reflect the rise of Northern Irish fine art photography, exemplified by artists such as Paul Seawright and Mary McIntyre.
