Stool
Description
One of a set of three Empire stools, circa 1830. The stool is cream in colour with swirling floral designs adorned on each side of the stool. The face of the stool is framed by red and green floral cornices which surround a complex floral design in the centre of the stool. A colourful presentation of flowers is depicted in the centre of the stool's seat, a variation of needlework florals of blues, pinks and yellows.
