Description

Pot : vase The vessel has a flat rim, neck and rounded shoulder below which the body tapers to a flat base. The inner surface of the neck bears a lattice of cord-impressed ornament. Four concentric lines of finer cord impressions encircle the flat rim. The upper portion of the neck bears a running chevron formed by three cord-impressed lines and bounded by two horizontal, cord-impressed lines. Below this a band of impressed lattice completes the decoration on the neck. Six horizontal, cord-impressed lines encircle the shoulder.
