Description
Pot : urn : vase
The vessel is formed by an everted rim, a long neck, well-defined shoulder, and sides which taper to a flat base. The inner surface of the neck bears nine horizontal cord-impressed lines and four others continue onto the surface of the rim. Two cord-impressed horizontal lines define the limits of a band of incised filled chevrons which decorate the upper portion of the neck. The lower area of the neck and part of the shoulder is decorated with a band defined by two incised lines and filled with staggered lines. The remainder of the shoulder is encircled by an incised line on either side of which are dots, probably formed by a finger tip.
